Join us for a live webinar with Aaron Halimi, founder & President of Renewable Properties, and Dahvi Wilson, Vice President of Public Affairs for Apex Clean Energy, as they discuss the challenges and best practices for solar developers permitting solar projects. In this informative session, you'll learn from two leading voices in the industry about how to overcome NIMBYism and other challenges that can derail solar, wind & energy storage projects.
With their extensive experience in navigating the complex landscape of local stakeholders, regulations, and utilities, Aaron and Dahvi will share the strategies that have helped their companies successfully implement clean energy infrastructure projects from concept to completion.
Aaron Halimi founded Renewable Properties (RP) in San Francisco in 2017, with a vision to create a platform that takes an institutional approach to an underserved and fragmented area of the solar market—small scale utility and community solar projects (projects ranging 1-20 MWs in size). As President of RP, Aaron has led the development of over 500 MWs of solar across multiple transactions and project sites throughout the U.S.
For the past ten years, Dahvi Wilson has led Apex Clean Energy’s public affairs team, focused on preserving and enhancing the company’s license to operate in statehouses and communities across the nation. Under Dahvi’s leadership, Apex’s public affairs team has developed an approach to community engagement that is relationship-based and politically savvy, rooted in a campaign mentality.
